There was a time when men’s fragrances seemed built around a single fantasy; unreachable men, restrained emotions and an idea of strength almost always expressed through distance. The man appeared alone; walked alone; won alone. For years, masculinity in luxury felt reduced to that image: absolute control; toughness; an apparent invulnerability that rarely left room for anything else.
But men changed; today we see generations speaking more openly about mental health; more emotionally honest friendships; more present fathers; conversations happening that once felt almost impossible. Because perhaps the contemporary man is no longer trying to appear invincible; he is trying to understand who he is when he no longer feels the need to prove everything.
And maybe that is why Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Sport arrives at such an interesting moment.

When Competition Stops Meaning Doing It Alone
Since 2023, Givenchy has built Gentleman Society around a different idea of masculinity; one driven by respect, positivity and team spirit. A community where the gentleman is no longer defined solely by presence or status; but also by the way he moves forward alongside others.
The choice of Pierre Gasly also feels intentional. Yes; he is a Formula 1 driver, but beyond speed and precision, there is something much more interesting in what he represents: a discipline deeply dependent on teamwork. Because even within one of the world’s most visually individual sports; no one truly moves forward alone.
And perhaps that is where one of the campaign’s most compelling ideas appears: “Together, we move, we strive, we push our limits.”
More than a slogan; it feels like a quiet correction to a masculine narrative that, for years, confused independence with isolation.
“Together, we move, we strive, we push our limits.”

Speed; But With Depth
Perfumer Karine Dubreuil Sereni translates that idea through contrast. The fragrance opens with four Italian lemons selected across the changing seasons; Primofiore in autumn; winter lemon; spring lemon and summer Verdello. What makes it interesting is that the freshness never feels flat or immediate; instead, it moves through green, citrus and aromatic facets that feel more alive than simply sporty.
Then, the composition shifts rhythm. Narcissus; iris; frozen sandalwood; vetiver; amber woods and Blooming Musk begin building something far more structured. Not to make the fragrance harder; but to give it permanence. Because Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Sport seems to understand something interesting: energy and depth do not have to exist separately.
Even the bottle participates in that narrative. The black gradient reveals the fragrance beneath; the metallic 4G emblem takes visual cues from Formula 1 aesthetics; and the bold red Sport introduces speed into an otherwise restrained design language. Because perhaps being a gentleman today no longer means appearing invincible; perhaps it means something much more difficult; continuing to move forward without losing your humanity.
“Gentleman Society Eau de Parfum Sport seems to understand something interesting: energy and depth do not have to exist separately.”
