Some scents reveal themselves slowly. Others can shift the energy of a room in a matter of seconds. CHANEL draws on that second feeling to write a new chapter in its fragrance universe: one that feels more intense, spontaneous, and impossible to ignore. Its name? COCO MADEMOISELLE Crush Absolu.
The idea goes beyond a new perfume. Scent, makeup, and image come together around the idea of a crush: that unexpected moment when something—or someone—completely shifts our perception. Perhaps the French House’s latest way of turning the unexpected into a new way of leaving a mark.

Created by Olivier Polge, CHANEL Perfumer-Creator, Crush Absolu builds on the codes that have defined COCO MADEMOISELLE since 2001.
A New Intensity for COCO MADEMOISELLE
Created by Olivier Polge, CHANEL Perfumer-Creator, Crush Absolu builds on the codes that have defined COCO MADEMOISELLE since 2001. This time, however, it takes a familiar signature and explores intensity from a different perspective. Rose, jasmine, and patchouli remain at the heart of its olfactory identity, but they are now surrounded by new notes that transform what we thought we already knew.
A combination of grapefruit and lychee opens the fragrance, revealing its floral heart. Patchouli then finds greater depth through vetiver and vanilla, creating a composition that is intense, fruity, and effortlessly enveloping, constantly moving between brightness and depth.
And while each note helps build its new intensity, the most interesting part of this new facet of COCO MADEMOISELLE lies not in the notes themselves, but in the intention behind them. Crush Absolu was imagined as an affirmation of the self. A fragrance that only truly takes shape once someone wears it. It does not seek to conform. It reveals, surprises, and, at the same time, invites us to discover what happens when something we already know dares to feel different.

Crush Absolu: When Scent Becomes Color
Now, a crush also finds a way to be seen. For the first time in the House’s history, COCO MADEMOISELLE does not arrive alone. Its new fragrance shares the spotlight with a makeup collection that takes its olfactory universe into new territory.
The self-expression behind Crush Absolu moves into color, where pinks, mauves, browns, and shimmering accents shift in intensity depending on who wears them. At the center of the collection is LES 9 OMBRES – The New Smoky, a new limited-edition palette combining five high-impact eyeshadows with four luminous top coats. It is joined by ROUGE COCO – Crush, a lipstick in a subtly luminous mauve-lilac shade that, for the first time, features the House’s iconic double C engraved directly onto the bullet. Two pieces that invite you to play with intensity without prescribing a single way to wear them.
The collection is completed by a satin brown eyeliner, a warm rosewood blush, and the new LE VERNIS in Coco, a delicate, opaque pink. A line that does not attempt to recreate the scent through color, but rather to do something far more interesting: translate the attitude of Crush Absolu into another way of wearing it on the skin.

Her songs live somewhere between vulnerability, desire, and all those emotions that surface when someone manages to shift our perception.
Gracie Abrams and the Moment Everything Changes
The final language of Crush Absolu is image. And who better to embody this new olfactory universe than Gracie Abrams. If there is one thing that has come to define the artist, it is her ability to speak about what we feel before we quite know how to explain it. Her songs live somewhere between vulnerability, desire, and all those emotions that surface when someone manages to shift our perception. Exactly where a crush begins.
In the campaign film, Gracie does not need to play the crush: she is the one who creates it. She walks through the streets of Paris, steps into a café, and with her presence alone, completely changes the rhythm of the room. A moment as spontaneous as it is magnetic, and one that seems to confirm something: Gracie Abrams was not chosen simply to represent COCO MADEMOISELLE. She was chosen to take it into a new facet.
